Commonwealth Games Australia mourns the passing of Christchurch 1974 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Peter Fullager late last year, aged 77.
A racewalking pioneer, Peter was originally born in England before naturalising for Australia in 1970 and immediately began dominating the national racewalking championships, qualifying for the team for the Christchurch 1974 Games where he went on to win the bronze medal.
Commonwealth Games Australia extends its condolences to Peter Fullager’s family and friends.
