Commonwealth Games Australia mourns the passing of Perth 1962 bronze medal-winning runner Tony Blue.

Representing Australia at both the Rome 1960 Olympics and the Tokyo 1964 Olympics running in the 800m event, but it was at the Games in Perth where Blue had his best result finishing third to capture the bronze medal in front of home fans.

Commonwealth Games Australia joins Athletics Australia in extending our condolences to Tony Blue’s family and friends.
