Australia’s best divers will be looking to make a minimal splash as they target the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, with the championships shown on 7plus.

Diving Australia has announced the Seven Network as the official streaming partner of the 2022 Australian Diving Championships, which will double as the selection trials for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and 2022 FINA World Championships.

The deal will see finals of the Men’s and Women’s 3-Metre and Platform events across the final day of competition on Saturday 4 June, streamed live on 7plus.

Diving Australia CEO David Bell said: “We are excited to partner with 7plus to bring the finals of the 2022 Australian Diving Championships to more fans across Australia.

“To have the opportunity to stream live our national finals, across Australia’s #1 Broadcaster video on demand (BVOD) platform, 7plus, gives us the chance to showcase the very best of our sport, including our Australian Commonwealth Games squad members.

“This will be the final competition on home soil for our team before they head overseas for their Commonwealth Games campaign, so they are set to be in their best form. Following the 2022 Australian Diving Championships, 14 divers will be announced as part of the 2022 Commonwealth Games Australian team,” he said.
