Grayson Bell

Grayson Bell (swimming) made his Commonwealth Games debut in Birmingham where he reached the final of the 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke events.

Born and bred on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Grayson moved to The Southport School and TSS Aquatic when he was 13, winning his first national age group medal at 15, before winning a pair of relay bronze at the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing. He claimed the 50m breaststroke at the 2017 Australian Short Course Championships and was selected to compete in the World Short Course championships in China the following year.

Bell trains at Somerset College on the Gold Coast under Sydney Olympic relay gold medallist and 50m freestyle Australian record holder Ashley Callus. He is studying for a Bachelor of Nursing at Griffith University.
