Rebecca Van Asch

Rebecca Van Asch (lawn bowls) enjoyed dual gold-medal success in the women’s triples and women’s fours on the Gold Coast in 2018 but was unable to repeat the feat at her second Games in Birmingham in 2022. Rebecca made her debut for Australia in 2011. Multiple Australian and international titles followed, including World Bowls Championship gold in the pairs with Kelsey Cottrell in 2012 and in both triples and fours in 2016. Most recently, she claimed triples gold at the 2021 Australian Championships. Van Asch was appointed Bowls Australia High Performance Manager in June 2021 following a seven-year tenure as chief executive of Bowls Tasmania. The mother of one plays out of the Invermay Bowls Club in Launceston.
