EPISODE 17: KELSEY COTTRELL
Kelsey Cottrell is a leading Australian lawn bowler vying for a position on the GC2018 team with a story not prevalent within elite sport.
Cottrell played almost 50 games for the country, whilst pregnant with her first child – putting herself in position for Games selection.
“I actually didn’t stop competing until eight and half months, I even played tennis two days before she was born,” she said.
Cottrell chats about juggling bowls and her new role as ‘Mum’, the excitement around a home Games and how she is helping change the countries perspective on bowls.
