Rockhampton’s Hockey champion Mark Knowles is a three-time gold medallist and an integral member of the Kookaburras team. Among an ever-growing list of achievements Knowles was named the Sports International Player of the Year in 2014 and in the same year chosen as the Commonwealth Games Flag Bearer at the Closing Ceremony in Glasgow.
