Commonwealth Games Australia is passionate about connecting with communities.
Through our Community Program we are giving students across Australia opportunities to experience the thrill of the Games through the eyes of our athletes, as they strive to be greater together.
Last week with past and present Australian athletes Kathryn Harby-Williams, Benn Harradine, Melissa Tapper and Torita Blake, we travelled across the country to the culturally diverse communities of the Northern Territory (NT).
Benn, Melissa and Torita were welcomed with open arms at Yirara Girls Academy, Yirara Clontarf Academy and Alice Springs Athletics Club while former Diamonds Captain Kathryn Harby-Williams spent time on the court with NT Netball.
Watch the journey unfold….
