The Australian Team will get the opportunity to thank the community for the overwhelming support shown during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, with Commonwealth Games Australia today confirming a series of TeamAUS Celebrations in capital cities.

Celebrations will commence with a street parade in Brisbane on Friday April 27 at midday, running through Queens Street Mall and concluding at King George Square.

Australian Team Chef de Mission, Steve Moneghetti said the events will provide Team Members the opportunity to acknowledge the amazing support from the Australian community.

“The Australian Team was able to achieve incredible success on the Gold Coast and a big part of that success is owed to the amazing home crowd support ,” Moneghetti said.
