PLOUFFE RECLAIMS INDIVIDUAL PURSUIT CROWN, OBLITERATES CHAMPIONSHIP RECORD
Maeve Plouffe has reclaimed the women’s individual pursuit national championship on Day 3 of #TrackNats22, smashing the championship record in the process.
Plouffe won gold with a time of 3:22.557 and caught silver medallist Amber Pate with two laps to go in the 3000m event.
The 22-year-old now adds a second individual pursuit national championship to her trophy cabinet after winning in 2019.

The 2022 Australian Beach Volleyball champions were today crowned at Coolangatta Beach, after a thrilling three days of action that saw Australia’s best alongside international teams go head to head.
Number one seeds Nikki Laird and Phoebe Bell have taken out the Women’s Elite title while Aussie men’s favourites Mark Nicolaidis and Izac Carracher fell in three thrilling sets to New Zealand’s number one team Sam O’dea and Bradley Fuller.

Kristina Clonan was pushed to the limit en route to winning her third-straight elite women’s sprint national championship on #TrackNats22 Sunday, stating her newest national crown was the toughest of them all.
The Queenslander was visibly fatigued after donning the national champion’s jersey, a clear indication of the energy she exerted to maintain her dominance over the women’s sprint field.

To be in the stands in Birmingham supporting the Australian Team, for the first time Australian families and fans will be able to access group tickets for all events at the Commonwealth Games.
The Family & Fans Tour ensures Australian families and fans can sit and cheer together, stay together and play together at the Birmingham Games.
