Commonwealth Games gold medallists are set to lead the Australian Diving Team following the announcement of the team selection for the 2023 World Aquatics Championships.

Similarly, Shixin Li will compete in both the Men’s 1m and 3m Springboard competition, with Sam Fricker set to partner with Li in the Men’s 3m Synchro, as well as the 3m and 10m Individual Events.
Cassiel Rousseau will represent Australia in the 10m Platform and Men’s 10m Platform Synchro with partner Domonic Bedggood, while Maddison Keeney will compete in her signature 3m event.
After a breakthrough year in 2022 where she qualified for her debut World Championships and Commonwealth Games, Nikita Hains returns to the team, alongside World Championships debutants Milly Puckeridge and Lauren Flint.
The 2023 World Aquatics Championships will be held in Fukuoka from 14 to 30 July, with diving getting underway on the opening day at Fukuoka Prefectural Pool. The Fukoaka championships also offer qualifying quota spots for next year’s Olympic Games in Paris.
