Australia’s judo team leaves Glasgow with seven medals and a campaign defined by resilience, tactical battles and a new generation of judoka making their mark on the Commonwealth stage.
On the final day of competition in Glasgow, judo closed out the Australians’ campaign with Maria Swan (women’s -78kg) and Kayhan Ozcicek-Takagi (men’s +100kg) both on the mat.
Oli Bleddyn has won silver in the men’s points race, narrowly missing out on a golden exclamation point to the Australian domination at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
